Your first ride
How early should I arrive?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early so our team can give you a tour of the studio, set you up with shoes, and adjust your bike.
Do I need my own cycling shoes?
No — cycling shoes are available at the studio for every class (a rental fee may apply). Prefer your own? Just make sure they're Delta-clip or SPD-clip compatible.
What should I bring and wear?
Just show up — we provide complimentary filtered water, towels, snacks, lockers, hair ties, and toiletries. Wear a tank or t-shirt and form-fitting athletic shorts or pants.
How do I pick my bike, and can I ride next to a friend?
You choose your bike when you book. Just ask your friend which bike they picked so you can reserve the one right next to them.
Classes & the experience
How long is a CycleBar class?
Most rides are 45 minutes. Our Xpress ride is a fast 30 minutes, including cool-down.
What is a CycleBar class actually like?
Every ride happens in the CycleTheatre — a tiered, concert-style room with 47 custom bikes, stadium lighting, big screens, and a sound system that drives the whole ride. Your CycleBeats playlist sets the energy and CycleStats tracks your performance.
Which class should I take first?
Most new riders start with Classic (a mix of strength, endurance, hills, and drills) or Connect (an energetic, rhythm-based ride). You can always modify to your level.
Are there late or cancellation fees?
Yes — please check your rider agreement and with the studio for class late/cancellation fees and membership cancellation details.
